Welcome! - Welcome to the Secret Photo Society. The secret photo society is a small community of photographers who wish to recieve more personal comments, and meet new photographers here on dA. Members are invited to join the club by current members. This way, we create a personal community in one that is not personal and obviously overgrown.

Current and Past Contests

Current Contest: Well it is summer time, and possibly one of the best times of the year to capture sunrises and sunsets. So that's what this contest entails! Get up at the crak of dawn or stay out 'til dusk and capture nature at its most beautiful! Submissions are open only to members, submit by clicking link below.

Starts: July 29, 2007
Ends: August 24, 2007

Members and Submissions

To Be a Member: You must be invited to join this club. A member must suggest you and the administrators will send out invitations to new members. Members must have a link somewhere, whether in their journal or signature.

Submissions: To submit a photo, click on the links in the journal and include a link to your deviation. Only members may submit up to two photos a week, not including contests.





Update - August 13, 2007: Hey, this is *leesaf. I was thinking of trying to get together a few sps chats later this week if anyone wants to drop by and talk about which direction we want this club to go, or just stop by to say hi. I will do my best to be in the chat room as much as I can all week, but I will definately be around on the 14th and 15th around 9pm EST. So make sure you stop by the chat (link given above) and keep me from getting bored.

Update - August 13, 2007: Hey guys! I got bored so I made a quick and very poor quality tour of S.P.S. behind the scenes. It's the best I could do with free screencast software, but I figured it would still be cool and fun for you guys.

Update - August 12, 2007: About seven months ago, this club closed down. It was a sad day I must admit, and while I tried to continue elsewhere, it didn't really work out. After leaving dA altogether for a while, I am back, and so is S.P.S. Along with *leesaf and =feetpeet we are going to try and restore this club to it's former glory.

Update - July 27, 2007: Still working! Thew new admins will be myself, Adam (=ahedrick201) and Lee (*leesaf). I have contacted Josh but he has not responded. Anyone else interested in joining in or helping out in some way, send us a note.

Update - July 26, 2007: Submissions will open up at 12:00AM on July 29, 2007 for members who wish to still participate in this clubs, as well as contest submissions and invitations. New submission guidelines and stuff can be found to the left.

Update - July 23, 2007: The new network for the club is being laid out as I type this. Hopefully this will make the club run silky smooth for everyone. This allows for more features and fun instead of bogged down admins!
